The following websites are great for using our Spanish vocabulary words or learning new Spanish words.

-Discovery website - create your own puzzles with our Spanish words. Try making a crossword puzzle, or a word search puzzle. http://puzzlemaker.discoveryeducation.com/

-123 Teach Me- this website is great! It not only has vocabulary but students can listen to correct pronouncation of words. Start with the "Spanish Course Section-Beginner level"- work up to the conversational section. This website provides many hours of FUN learning, enjoy.

Dear Parents and Students,

I am looking forward to teaching Spanish class this year at Eastern Hills. I have been in the teaching profession for 7 years. I have taught 4th grade and 1st grade and enjoy all grade levels. I completed a Masters Degree in Elementary Education (K-8) in 2005 and I hope to eam an endorsement in ESL (English as a second language) next year.

I truely believe a second language is so important to our children, especially Spanish since we live in New Mexico. Spanish is not only a wonderful language but a beautiful culture. I look forward to having enriched experiences in the classroom with the students.

Parents,

The students are trying to reach of goal to earn a party. Our goal is for every student to bring their AR book and bag for 18 days straight. So far, we are not doing well! We have not even had three consecutive days. Please help your student remember to put their book in their bag and their bag in their backpacks.
