EHCA Preschool Curriculum
Eastern Hills Christian Academy Preschool Curriculum provides a range of activities designed to meet the developmentally appropriate needs of three and four year olds. We recognize that young children develop at different rates along a growth continuum and learn through play. We provide both teacher and child-directed activities to encourage development around themes that give opportunities for children to learn about God's world and how to live in it. Our teachers respond to the natural curiosity of young children, reaffirm a sense of self, promote positive dispositions towards learning, and help build increasingly complex skills in the use of language, problem-solving, and cooperation.
Our goal is for each child to possess readiness skills required for Kindergarten, the social skills that will benefit each one throughout their lives, and, most importantly the knowledge and wisdom that will form the foundation for their Christian walk. Proverbs 22:6 says, "Train up a child in the ways he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it."
