El Sol Newsletter - March-Marzo

Great things are happening in Spanish Class! Many of the studets have begun to piece things together. I am so excitied for the 3rd and 4th graders they are using their prior knowledge to make good sentences. The 1st and 2nd graders are retaining their Spanish skills and getting quicker at recalling things.

Homework

Please work on “practice sheets”. Remember practice sheets are not “homework” but the more a student practices the better they learn the material.

March/April

Clothing

Students will identify and learn different clothing items and places. Please check the 1st and 2nd grade website for the vocabulary words and test dates.

The 3rd and 4th grade students are focusing on making sentences with the conversation words. Please check the 3 & 4 Grade link for vocabulary and test dates.

La Estrella Race (Star Race)- conversation race competition between 3^rd & 4^th graders. This ongoing event will continue until May. The race is to increase our conversation practices. The classroom with the most correct conversation practices will rise up our mountain then up to the "stars". Please check the 3rd and 4th grade website for the conversation vocabulary words. Check the website for update classroom tallies.
